Kebbi - Bagudu awards road contract in Zuru Emirate

Kebbi State Governor Senator Atiku Abubakar Bagudu has awarded the contract of Ribah – Maga Road, Ribah – Wasagu – Bena Road and Dabai junction Amanawa Road. In his address during the Flag – Off Ceremony of the three contracts ,Governor Atiku said the gesture is in line with the promise he made during campaign. He then said Kebbi State Government is up and doing to ensure steady light in Zuru Emirate. He further said already, Bagudo, Ka’oje and Koko – Besse were removed from Yauri Electric substation in order to improve the power supply of Zuru – Yauri. Also, the contract of rehabilitating the line from Birnin – Yauri to Zuru was awarded to address the wiring challenges.

In their separate appreciation remarks,The Deputy Governor Alh. Sama’ila Dabai Yombe, His Royal Highness the Emir of Zuru Maj. Gen. (Dr.) Muhammadu Sani Sami, Members Representing Danko/Wasagu West and East at Kebbi State House of Assembly Barr. Hamza M. Bello and Alh. Haliru Hassan Wasagu and the Sole Administrator Danko/Wasagu Hajiya Tsahara all commended the efforts of the State Government in addressing the security challenges in the area and further thanks the Executive Governor for the road contracts.
